It has been demonstrated that this system has advantages regarding the traditional system of production of postures in polyethylene bag inside which are: radical directed develop, bigger formation of roots, reduction of water and control of weeds, reduction in the nursery area among others. The main investigation topics in this system embrace from the type or mixture of appropriate substrates, type, forms, time of application of the mineral fertilizers until the shade type in the nursery and times of the postures sowing. The studies regarding this system agree: that the substrate or more appropriate mixture is the one that contains more reservation of organic matter together to the presence of a fertilizer of slow liberation, appropriate for the permanency of the coffee seedlings in the nursery; for what is not advisable to use the traditional mixture that is used for the system of bags of black polyethylene. The best development of the coffee seedlings is achieved in the plug with volumetric capacity among 120-150 cm3. The used sources of organic matter are the pulp of coffee, coconut fiber, manure, charred shell of rice, shell of pine mold.}, }

The coffees were planted on a Brown gleyed soil without carbonates at 300 msnm and the parcels were prepared at randomized blocks design with four replicates. Four plantation distances were used: 3.5 m x 3.5 m; 3 m x 3 m; 3 m x 2 m and 3 m x 1.5 m that constituted the treatments. They were carried out evaluations of the height, diameter of the glass, diameter of the shaft and number of branches to the coffees and the yield of three crops was determined. To the obtained data was carried out a variance analysis of double classification and Duncan test of multiple ranges in the necessary cases. The variation of the plantation density didn’t cause a significant effect on the height of the coffees. The biggest values for the variable diameter of the glass, diameter of the shaft and number of productive branches were reached with the smallest spacing’s in the coffees. The increment of the plantation density produced a significant effect on the yield and it achieved an economic effect of $8770.59 per hectare for the distance of 3 m x 1.5 m.}, }
